Counselling Intern

MACP, CCC-Student Member

I’m a Master’s level student completing my MA in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University, and I’m honoured to be supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. My path into counselling has been shaped by both professional and personal experiences that deepened my understanding of resilience, growth, and the importance of human connection.

Before starting graduate studies, I worked in education and wellness settings where I supported individuals in planning life goals and witnessed the value of compassionate care. These experiences inspired me to pursue counselling and continue to guide the way I show up with clients today. Growing up in Torbay, Newfoundland and Labrador, and later moving between different roles and communities gave me perspective on adapting to change and seeking connection. My approach to counselling is warm, collaborative, and client-centred, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for all identities, cultures, and experiences.

I believe everyone deserves a space to be heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, clarity, and growth.
